Twenty-One Pilots is an American music band consisting of duo: Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun.
Although the band had two previous members,it has found commercial success as a duo.
Greater success and world-wide acclaim came after the band released their fourth studio album
Blurryface.
The band produces music that tranverses the genres of indie-rock, pop and Alternative hip-hop.
Their diverse musical abilities in the various genres, angsty visual presentations and dramatic
themes is what makes them my favourite band.The duo complement both each other and their
music to deliver an art form no other band can replicate.
Tyler Joseph is the founder of the band.He is also the vocalist, song-writer and
producer of the Twenty-One Pilots. The Grammy award winning musician born
on December 1 1988 is a husband and father to one girl. Tyler is a visionary
genius in his craft, often incorporating themes of mental illness, millenial
nostalgia and personal despair in his lyrics and performances.
Joshua William Dun is an American drummer, percussionist and trumpet player.
Josh was born on June 18 1988 in Colombus Ohio same as his bandmate Tyler.
The grammy award winning drummer was involved in another band previously,
before partnering Tyler. Josh is beloved for his energetic drumming that complements
Tyler's vocals, lyrics and visual performances. Josh got married to actress Debby Ryan in December 31 2019.
